FAMILY PLANNING KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND PRACTICE AMONG WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE IN NIMULE PAYAM, SOUTH SUDAN

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine family planning Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) among women reproductive age in Nimule Payam, South Sudan.
 Method: used a descriptive cross-sectional design quantitative approach explore knowledge, attitude practice Payam. population consisted 6,621 the Bomas Anzara (1,930), Jalei(,1521), Olikwi (1,536) Central (1,634). A sample size 342 determined from using formulae Leslie. Stratified simple random sampling employed through researcher administered structured questionnaire collect data respondents. cleaned, coded analyzed EPI-INFO version 7 generate statistics results were presented tables.
 Results: revealed that Payam had high 273 (79.82%) level good 233 (68%) practices positive towards planning. because majority 270 (78.97%) believed safe use, could not cause infertility 252 (73.82%), cancer 264 (76.93%) future abortion 251 (73.36%). respondents also generally agreed 319 (93.07%) prevent unwanted pregnancy. However, acknowledged against their God/Allah 268 (78.31%) culture 229 (67.03%).
 Unique contribution theory, policy: found fairly with moderate number practicing methods. Increased sensitization partners on is required improve practice. Future studies should focus factors influencing methods
